Study on the Environmental Control of Operation Room(Ⅱ)

Abstract
|
|
|
The study on contamination rate between staphylococcus and other bacteriae in atmosphere of operating room was attempted from -May 12 to May 20, 1975.
The results obtained were as follows:
1. Average 7.7 colonies of staphylococcus and 23.8 colonies of other bacteriae were isolated(Petri dish/an hour)
2. The identified rate of staphylococcus was 32.5% among other bacteriae isolated.
These results suggest that doctors, nurses and other staffs of operating room pay attention to the environmental control of operating room because atomosphere of operating room was highly contaminated with staphylococcus.
